Nextendis attended to the Mobility 2.0 day : a strategy for intelligent transports, organized by the French Ministry of Transports.

The French Ministry of Transports organized the Mobility 2.0 day at Versailles Satory on February the 11th. Frédéric Cuvillier, the French Minister of transports as well as the main actors of intelligent mobility were present. That day has been the opportunity to announce several projects:

  • French government plans to focus the actors of intelligent mobility and to encourage their collaboration in order to make France a worldwide leader
  • A national multi-modal traveler information system allowing computing door to door trips is due in 2015.
  • The Common Ticketing Application (Application Billettique Commune, ABC) will be used by several French Transport Organization Authorities by end 2014
  • The worldwide congress for intelligent transport systems will be hosted in the city of Bordeaux in September 2015

Nextendis attended to that event as a consultant involved in French and international standardization activities for intelligent transport systems as well as an early contributor to the ABC project for the French Ministry of Transports and the AFIMB.
