Nextendis joins Visa Ready for Transit to promote innovation for transit systems

Through Nextendis’ work with Visa, Nextendis provides strategic guidance and technical expertise to banks and transit agencies in the implementation of next generation of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) integrating Open Payment services.
Contactless transit open payments offers simplicity of use and enhancement of the customer experience by avoiding the need to pre-purchase a ticket/fare card or stand in line to reload their fare card.
For Transit operators, contactless transit solutions allow the delivery of a fast, easy and secure customer experience and streamline fare collection, reduced operational costs and fraud and enhanced ability to understand customer traveling behavior while boosting ridership through an improved customer experience.
The Visa Ready for Transit program provides transit agencies with access to partners, like Nextendis, with international proven expertise and a combined knowledge of payment, public transit and urban mobility ecosystems.
