CEREMA publishes a new guide for ticketing system acquisition

Cerema has just published a document to help local authorities to acquire ticketing systems. This document is an essential tool for public transport authorities wishing to equip or renew their ticketing system in an environment where user expectations and technologies have evolved enormously in the recent years: use of smartphones and contactless payment cards as a transport media, insertion of the public transport offer within an extended offer of mobility services and multimodal information …

In a context of tightening budget constraints for public transport authorities and an abundance of possible solutions, this book gives some reading keys and recommendations that are very useful in order to better manage these investments.

Nextendis assisted AFIMB and CEREMA in the development of this document on the issues related to fraud and security.

The document can be ordered online on the CEREMA website: http://www.certu-catalogue.fr/outil-pour-l-acquisition-de-systemes-intelligents-pour-les-transports-collectifs-1.html
